Eligible students can apply to the SEG to receive funding towards the program budget of a single Yale Summer Session (YSS) Abroad program or a single Yale in London program, in proportion to the financial aid percentage they received during the academic year. Funding includes expenses billed by the program, such as tuition; and living expenses calculated by internal SEG standards. Program budgets are created by the SEG Team and will be made available on the SEG website.
Eligible Students
- Yale College first-year, sophomore, or junior.
- receive Yale financial aid
- have not received an ISA/SEA before
- complete all required materials by the deadline

Required Use of Funds
Students who receive the SEG are required to use the money for the purposes for which it was granted. If using the SEG for an eligible study abroad program, students must earn Yale credit.
Students must abide by all SEG Policies. Failure to fulfill SEG policies will result in being asked to return SEG funding and other consequences, such as a case with ExComm.
